They HTC Sells Entire Shares in Beats Electronics

Last month, there was some speculation about a rumored Beats Electronics will buy back the 25 percent stake owned by HTC that is in the headset manufacturer. Yesterday, this speculation became reality, Beats buy back a 25 percent stake owned by HTC worth 265 million dollars. HTC has a 50.1 percent stake previously Beats in 2011. But next year the founder of Beats, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. HTC Dre buy half stake in Beats.

The agreement itself will end later this year. Although their latest flagship, the HTC One fairly successful, but HTC experiencing tough times currently associated financial companies and some internal cases. Although the stock HTC Beats is not there, HTC stated that Beats remains an important partner and still they will use Beats sound system in their devices.
